CCGA Annual General Meeting – 2023
The 6th Annual General Meeting of the Ceylon Career Guidance Association was a major event for the organization, as it marked the appointment of new officials and the discussion of plans for the upcoming year. The meeting was held on January 29th at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute and was well attended by members of the association.
One of the key highlights of the meeting was the appointment of the new officials. Mr Lakmal Weeramanthri was reappointed as the president of the association, while Mrs Irandi Dahanayake took on the role of secretary, Mr Kanchuka De Alwis as the treasurer and Mr Kusala Wilwaraarachchi as the national organizer. All the new officials received warm congratulations from the members of the association.
In addition to the appointment of new officials, the AGM was also the venue for the launch of the official website of the Ceylon Career Guidance Association. This new website will serve as an important platform for the association to communicate with its members and the public, and will provide valuable information about the organization and its activities.
The meeting was also addressed by Mr Ajith Jayawardhana, the chairman of the board of directors and a senior career consultant, who explained the future plans for the association. He congratulated the new board of officers and emphasized the importance of their work in guiding individuals towards successful careers.
