Recognising the evolving landscape of career development, the Ceylon Career Guidance Association (CCGA) has taken a significant stride by collaborating with prominent institutions to revamp the Career Key. In partnership with the Sri Lanka Foundation, YouLead, Department of Manpower, and Ministry of Skill Development, CCGA embarked on an insightful journey to reshape the Career Key test. The collective efforts of these entities have culminated in a comprehensive revamp that addresses the changing dynamics of career aspirations, education needs, job requirements, and skill development.

Modernizing for the Present:

Acknowledging that the original Career Key questionnaire needed a refresh to resonate with the present society, the collaborative discussions and workshops were aimed at crafting a new, contemporary version. Months of thoughtful deliberations resulted in a refined Career Key test that aligns seamlessly with the social fabric of Sri Lanka today.

On this remarkable day, August 11th, 2023, CCGA proudly announces the release of the revamped Career Key. This dynamic tool has been meticulously redesigned and is now ready to empower around forty career counsellors across the nation representing several government bodies. With an embracing training program covering the new features and insights, these professionals are poised to guide individuals towards their true calling.

The pivotal role played by the Executive Director of CCGA, Mr. Ajith Jayawardhana the founding member of the Sri Lanka version of the Psychometric Test aka Career Key, and President Mr. Lakmal Weeramanthri, cannot be understated. Their vision and dedication have been instrumental in shaping this new solution. Notably, the revamped Career Key was tested and refined with the active involvement of Members of the Ceylon Career Guidance Association.
